The Delek Education Foundation came into being in September, 2019. We are a young organisation, working in the domain of education, focusing on access and readership. Our vision is to build this access to knowledge, expertise and readership through a network of community libraries easily accessible to young learners.
Simultaneously, we are also conducting research and building a database of resources to document problems of access and equity faced by disadvantaged groups in the context of school education. The Delek Archives provides a platform for first hand stories of people who face or have faced some form of discrimination in school, and is also a resource-gathering database which can be accessed by teachers, educators, policy-makers and others interested in school education reform and pedagogic and curricular interventions.
